Webflow Pricing 2026: Site Plan + Workspace, the Bill You Actually Pay
Webflow splits your bill in two: a site plan for each site and a Workspace plan for your team. The second layer is optional more often than most guides say. Here are three real bills, yearly and monthly.
A portfolio with a blog needs the Premium site plan: $25 a month on yearly billing, $39 on monthly, because Basic ($15 / $25) has no CMS.1 A startup of three with one extra language pays $88 a month yearly, $115 monthly,2 without a paid Workspace, because the free Starter Workspace can buy seats.3 A team of five with two extra languages pays $151 a month yearly, $191 monthly.4 Seats, not the site plan, are most of every team bill.

The real bill
Same scenarios as every page on this site: one site on a custom domain, under 50 GB of bandwidth a month, no overage, USD before tax. Each cell shows yearly billing / monthly billing, per month.5

Table: checked Nov 2–3, 2026 · plus tax. Totals and percentages are our arithmetic.8
S1: a solo portfolio with a blog
The only decision is Basic or Premium. Basic is $15 a month on yearly billing, but Webflow’s pricing page lists no CMS on it, so a blog or a case-study collection is out. Premium adds 20,000 CMS items and 40 collections for $10 more. Paying monthly, the same plan is $468 a year instead of $300.
S3: a startup of three, one extra language
Premium is $25, the designer’s full seat $39, the writer’s limited seat $15 and Localize Essential $9: $88 a month on yearly billing, $115 on monthly. The Workspace stays on free Starter. If you need more than two staging sites, Core is the next line at $19 yearly or $28 monthly, which takes S3 to $107 or $143.9
S5: a team of five, two extra languages
Premium $25, two full seats $78 and two limited seats $30 come to $133 before languages ($167 on monthly billing). Localize Essential is priced per locale, so two locales add $18 yearly or $24 monthly: $151 and $191. Seats are $108 of the $151, or 72%.10
Two layers: Site plan and Workspace
The “pay twice” framing in other guides is half right. A Site plan is billed per site and decides what the published site can do: custom domain, CMS size, bandwidth, form submissions. A Workspace plan is billed per team and decides how many sites you can stage, whether you get code export, and who can hold site-level roles. Seats are bought on top.
What many guides get wrong is the dependency. Webflow’s help article on choosing a Workspace plan says every Workspace plan, including free Starter, includes one full seat for the owner, up to 100 free Reviewer seats, and the ability to buy unlimited full or limited seats.11 The Workspace plan is not a toll for adding people; it pays for staging capacity and permissions.
Site plans at a glance
| Starter | Basic | Premium | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Per month, yearly billing | Free | $15 | $25 |
| Per month, monthly billing | Free | $25 | $39 |
| CMS | 50 items, 20 collections | No CMS | 20,000 items, 40 collections |
| Static pages | 2 | 300 | 300 |
| Bandwidth | 1 GB | 10 GB | 50 GB, more available up to 2.5 TB |
| Form submissions | 50 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Table: Webflow pricing page, read Nov 2, 2026 · plus tax.12
Basic has no CMS. A blog, a collection-driven work index or anything a client edits as structured content needs Premium. That is the most common reason a $15 plan becomes a $25 plan.
Premium’s page cap is 300 static pages, the same as Basic; CMS pages do not count toward it.13 If you plan more static pages than that, you are in Enterprise territory.
Starter is for learning, not launching. Two static pages and 1 GB of bandwidth make it a place to try the tool and stage ideas.
Bandwidth ladder on Premium
Premium includes 50 GB. Past it, Webflow lists add-on steps, and a site over its limit two months in a row is upgraded automatically.14
| Add-on | Yearly billing | Monthly billing | Premium + add-on, yearly | Premium + add-on, monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| +50 GB | $20 | $30 | $45 | $69 |
| +100 GB | $40 | $60 | $65 | $99 |
| +250 GB | $100 | $150 | $125 | $189 |
| +700 GB | $274 | $410 | $299 | $449 |
Per month, plus tax. The last two columns are our arithmetic.15
On yearly billing that is about $0.40 per extra gigabyte, slightly less on the largest step. Budget for it if the site serves video, large galleries or downloads: a portfolio that goes viral is exactly when a flat plan stops being flat.
Workspace plans and seats
| Workspace plan | Yearly billing | Monthly billing | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Free | Free | 1 full seat (owner), 2 staging sites |
| Core | $19 | $28 | 10 staging sites, custom code, code export |
| Growth | $49 | $60 | Unlimited staging, per-site permissions |
| Freelancer | $16 | $24 | 10 staging sites, 1 client seat per site |
| Agency | $35 | $42 | Unlimited staging, 3 client seats per site |
| Extra seat, per person | Yearly billing | Monthly billing |
|---|---|---|
| Full seat (design and build) | $39 | $45 |
| Limited seat (content-focused) | $15 | $19 |
| Reviewer seat (comment and review) | $0 | $0 |
Both tables: per month, plus tax. Webflow pricing page, Workspace tab, read Nov 2, 2026.16
Do you need a paid Workspace?
Not for seats. A free Starter Workspace can hold the full and limited seats you buy, so the S3 and S5 bills carry a $0 Workspace line. The limit is capacity: Starter has 2 staging sites and 50 CMS items per staged site.
- Stay on Starter if your team edits one live site, stages sparingly and needs no per-site permissions.
- Add Core ($19 / $28) for more than two staging sites, Workspace-level custom code or code export.
- Look at Growth ($49 / $60) for unlimited staging or permissions that differ site by site.
- Client seats are free and come with freelancer and agency Workspaces: 1 per paid site on a Starter Workspace set up for freelancers and agencies, 1 per site (staged or paid) on Freelancer, 3 on Agency, and extra client seats cannot be bought. A client can be a Marketer, Content editor or Reviewer, never a Designer.17
Add-ons: Localize, Analyze, Optimize
Localize is priced per locale, and the tier depends on how many you add:
| Locales added | Essential, yearly | Essential, monthly | Advanced, yearly | Advanced, monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $9 | $12 | $29 | $35 |
| 2 | $18 | $24 | $58 | $70 |
| 3 | $27 | $36 | $87 | $105 |
| 4 to 10 | not offered | not offered | $29 per locale ($290 for 10) | $35 per locale ($350 for 10) |
Per month, plus tax. Webflow pricing page, locale selector, read Nov 3–4, 2026.18
Up to three languages, Essential is the cheap row. A fourth language means Advanced, where each locale costs $29 a month on yearly billing.
Analyze starts at $9 a month and Optimize at $299, both “from” prices we have not priced for a real site. Webflow also lists a Platform plan for teams at $2,500 a month on an annual contract, beyond the small teams this site covers.19
Yearly vs monthly
| Line | Yearly | Monthly | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $15 | $25 | +$10 |
| Premium | $25 | $39 | +$14 |
| Full seat | $39 | $45 | +$6 |
| Limited seat | $15 | $19 | +$4 |
| Localize Essential, per locale | $9 | $12 | +$3 |
Over a year, paying monthly costs $168 more on S1, $324 on S3 and $480 on S5.20 We did not confirm whether Webflow invoices seats yearly with the site plan or month by month (Framer bills extra editors monthly even on annual plans), so check Webflow’s checkout summary before you buy.
What changed in 2026
Webflow’s site plans are now Starter, Basic and Premium, and several third-party pricing guides still describe the older CMS and Business plans with different numbers. Webflow merged the old CMS and Business plans into Premium in May 2026. Existing sites move at their next renewal or billable change from June 29, 2026; sites in Freelancer or Agency Workspaces, and legacy pricing from 2022 or earlier, from November 16, 2026.21
Who Webflow’s pricing fits, and who it doesn’t
Fits
- Content-heavy sites: Premium includes 20,000 CMS items and 40 collections at $25 a month on yearly billing.
- Teams where writers only need limited seats: $15 each, not $39.
- Sites in one to three languages: Localize Essential is $9 per locale on yearly billing.
- Teams that need code export, on the Core Workspace.
Doesn't fit
- A portfolio with a blog on a $15 budget. Basic has no CMS, so the real entry price is $25.
- Teams with many full designers. Each full seat is $39 or $45, so five of them is $195 or $225 before the site plan.
- Sites in four or more languages, where Advanced costs $29 per locale on yearly billing.
- High-traffic sites on Premium's 50 GB that have not budgeted for bandwidth add-ons.
What the same team pays on Framer
For the S3 startup, Framer’s Pro plan comes to $80 a month on yearly billing and $115 on monthly: $30 site, $20 editor, $10 content editor, $20 locale.22 Webflow is $88 and $115, so Framer is $8 a month cheaper yearly and the monthly bills tie. At five people with two languages it is $150 on Framer against $151 here on yearly billing, a near tie, while monthly Webflow is cheaper, $191 against $215.23 Full side-by-side: Framer vs Webflow; the Framer bill line by line: Framer pricing.
